We’re Kate & Nikki, the duo behind The Creative Hustle Co. Together we have over 20 years’ experience working in the arts & events industry and share a love for daggy mum dancing, aesthetically pleasing (and delicious) cheese platters and the hustle and magic of events!

Curious, positive & passionate. I am a people person who thrives on adding vibrancy and excitement to events and experiences.
Starting out in weddings, I was quickly drawn to large scale festivals and am responsible for the creation of Handpicked Festival at Lake Breeze Wines, Langhorne Creek.
Handpicked has grown from a backyard 2,000 person event to one now that attracts over 7,500 people annually, cementing it as a notable festival on the State's events calendar. While Handpicked is my baby, I have also produced for Adelaide Fringe and large arts venues and organisations.

With over 10 years’ experience delivering large and small-scale events from concept creation to event execution, I’ve spent a lot of time in cells...of the Excel kind!
A lover of spreadsheets, dotting i’s and crossing t’s and finding practical solutions, I’m passionate about creating memorable and meaningful events!
On top of being lucky enough to assist Kate with Handpicked Festival since its’ inception, I’ve helped numerous committees and corporate organisations execute gala dinners, conferences, public activations and festivals. Working with everything from horses and wooden boats to bodybuilders and world class artists, it’s the variety of events that continue to inspire me.
